Caves of Lojme Tour
The ‘Caves of Lojme’ trail runs on the northeastern slope of Gjallica Mountain in Kukes, within the ‘Korab-Koritnik’ Nature Park. Spanning approximately 10 kilometers, this moderately difficult trail begins at an elevation of 820 meters above sea level and ascends to 1,279 meters. Hikers will explore a range of 10 caves and 6 additional niches set above Vana Canyon, along the ridge of the Small Peak of Gjallica. Throughout a 5-hour round trip, the trail provides an exhilarating experience and breathtaking views of the city of Kukes and the villages nestled along the Drin River Basin.

The journey begins in Kukës, where we will have a coffee or a light breakfast before starting.
• Vana Canyon – A natural monument with unique rock formations, perfect for photography and exploration.
• Bele Waterfall – A hidden gem in nature, where we can stop to enjoy the freshness of the crystal-clear mountain water.
From the village of Lojmë, where we leave the cars, we begin a challenging but magical 5-hour walk, exploring 6 caves along the way.
On the way back, we will have the opportunity to enjoy a stunning view of the city of Kukës from Mount Gjallica – an unforgettable moment for photography.
After the exploration, we will stop to have a traditional meal outdoors, savoring fresh local foods.
After a day filled with adventure, we return to the village of Lojmë to take our cars and head back to Kukës, with unforgettable memories from this unique trip.
